Zaexun is a bizarre fortress-city, capital of The Eternal Empire, and the home of Shoazoro, the Vulture-King, found at the mouth of Shimmerstream. It is a brilliantly colourful place. Many of its weirdly shaped buildings have mirrors for walls that cast multicoloured light in all directions. In the city’s centre lies Shoazoro’s Sorcerous Palace. The Palace is an enormous, impossibly tall tower. On particularly cloudy days, the tip of the tower seems to completely disappear. It is rumoured that it is in fact crossing the void into Shoazoro’s daemonic dimension, where he convenes with the Dark Gods themselves.
