In the summer of year 0, the illustrious realm of the Eternal Empire hosted a great jousting tourney to celebrate the 400 year reign of the Vulture King Shoazoro. A glorious host of knights from the Duchy of Bordelaux rode forth from their realm to face the challenge, never one to turn down the glory of a joust. A second lot of competitors set forth from their mountainous holds riding what seemed to be living, red, bouncy fungi! They were met by the finest wasteland knights the Eternal Empire had to offer.

Sir Erwin takes on Squigglez

First round

During the first round, many a knight were unceremoniously unhorsed by superior competitors. After a round robin of 3 knights per team facing each other competing realm, 3 wasteland knights from the eternal empire, 4 knights of the realm from the Duchy of Bordelaux and 2 Gnasher riders from the World's Edge mountains proceeded to the next round.

Second Round

After the weaning out of the weaker knights, the second round proceeded to have more even match-ups with knights winning mostly by a single lance. More strategy was involved, and after the round was over, 2 wasteland knights, 2 knights of the realm and 1 gnasher rider advanced.

Third Round

The first bout of this round saw Sir Ulfric of Equitaine unhorse a wasteland knight, and Sir Mervyn of Equitaine eliminate the final goblin competitor.

Final round

The final round was cut short by Sir Mervyn, unhorsing his opponent "The Deathknight" with his first lance! A bout was then fought between the remaining Equitainian competitors, with Sir Mervyn again coming out on top.

Prize

The noble Sir Mervyn of the Duchy of Bordelaux was named victor of the tournament and awarded 100 gold pieces, as well as Tchar's Charm and an increase in his family holdings back in Bordelaux.
